Hello, and welcome to The Pumpink Hat. This is my new blog that will bring you a wide variety of interesting topics.  You will progressively have access to my blogs on  teenage life, work, relationships, ADHD, anxiety, depression, survival skills, sports, politics, parenting, online shopping tips, mindfulness, hats (of course and why not?), and many others. No focus? Yep, that's me. I always refer to myself as the ultimate 'JACK OF ALL TRADES, MASTER OF NONE.".

 

You see, I used to be in the IT Profession and I can say that I had a prolific and successful career. But then, there is always this voice that I hear telling me, "This is not the work that you like." and perhaps why I sometimes think, "Am I happy with my job?".  It took me years to have enough courage to get out of the career that fed me and my family for more than 20 years. And it fed us well. I gave up my good paying job, without a firm plan in place. Options were there like business, a few job opportunities, but nothing was concrete. I just reached the point that I felt that I was in the wrong place and it finally dawned on me that it's time to start a new page in my life.  So...

 

"Blogging? Really? How can it feed your family?", you'd probably be thinking.  Yeah, that was my initial thought, too!  But after several consultations and having first hand information on the benefits of blogging, I thought, why not?  I'd like to do it as a hobby anyway.

 

It's really more on doing what I want.  I've always wanted to write a book, but I had time limitations.  I was able to write a few pages, but at the pace I was going, I might meet the grim reaper first before my book is published. Blogging addresses that issue, as I can write on my free time progressively and keep my future followers (hopefully you'll be one of them) looking forward to my new blogs.

 

And not to worry, you don't have to wait for 3 years like how long you wait for the next season of the famous TV series, SHERLOCK.  Or a year (but felt like 3 years) waiting for Season 6 of the highly acclaimed and second most watched TV series, (as of this writing) Game of Thrones (you'll read more about Game Of Thrones in my blogs). Remember, I quit my  job?  So I have more time in my hands now.

 

It is a blessing to have your time to read this and it will be an honor to have you as a follower of this blog.
